In the first paragraph of my review, I wrote “… a seminar on “Smoke and smoking means” in antiquity (Rausch und Rauschmittel in der Antike) …”. Prof. Fritz Graf and Dr Richard Newhauser just sent me an email to draw my attention on this mistake.
The text should read: “… a seminar on “Intoxication and psychotropic agents in antiquity “Rausch und Rauschmittel in der Antike) …”. I was probably obsessed (intellectually, I mean) by the inhalation of psychotropic substances by smoking!
