I would like to extend my sincere and humble apologies for referring to Synnøve des Bouvrie in my recent review with the masculine pronoun. I should have know better but didn’t. On the bright side, I’ve received so many emails correcting my error, that it’s obvious that my colleagues do know better, and that they are reading BMCR. I hope that Professor des Bouvrie will accept my heartfelt apology.
